Welcome to Dapto Uniting Church

COVIDSafe

We have made the decision to resume face-to-face worship services from Sunday 4 October 2020. We have prepared a COVID-19 Safety Plan from the NSW Government's template for Places of Worship and set out our plans for returning to services as safely as possible. We have registered with the NSW Government as a COVID Safe place of worship.

For information about our COVIDSafe Plan, please click or tap here.

As we understand that not everyone will not feel safe to return due to their particular vulnerability to worship in person, we will continue to record our services. Each week, the video of the service will be available on our website and our Facebook page after the service. If church members would like to request a recording of a service, please contact us from our Contact Page.

As advised by the NSW Health Department: we ask that you "do not attend religious services, weddings, funerals or other gatherings in person if you are feeling unwell or think you may have any COVID-19 symptoms."

Conditions of Entry

In accordance with the NSW Government Health Orders and our COVID-19 Safety Plan, we have developed Conditions of Entry to our face-to-face services, that we request all people attending in person will comply with these conditions:

  • Do not enter if you are currently unwell or have been unwell in the last 14 days.
  • Do not enter if you have been overseas or in Victoria in the last 14 days.
  • You must provide your name and contact details to the attendant before entering.
  • Seats are provided according to physical distancing rules.
  • If there are no seats left, you cannot enter.
  • Please be Kind—always stay 1.5 metres away from others.
  • For the health and welfare of all in attendance, please refrain from all physical contact with others.
  • Due to COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines, congregations are not allowed to participate in group singing.

Thank you.

COVIDSafe App

We recommend that all people who intend to attend our services in person download and use the COVIDSafe App. This will assist with contact tracing should there be a need.

Join us online each week for worship, prayer and teaching.

Due to COVID-19 we have moved to online services until it is safe to gather physically together again. Our prayer is that these services would be a blessing to you and may even provide opportunities to share God's love to those who are feeling challenged during this season.

The service will be available on our website and our Facebook page  by Sunday afternoon. If you would like to request a DVD or CD recording of a service please contact us from our Contact Page.

Sermons are available from our Sermons Page

Dapto Uniting Church is a warm, friendly and welcoming church community and is located right in the very heart of the Dapto CBD.

At Dapto Uniting Church, we believe that a healthy community is composed of people of all generations and backgrounds interacting with one another in love and service.

An informal morning tea is held in the Church Hall after each Sunday morning service and this is a great way of catching up with one another or meeting new friends. A meal is shared before our monthly evening service, on the third Sunday of each month.
