At Dapto Uniting Church, we gratefully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather, the Dharawal people of the Wadi Wadi Nation. Their enduring connection to this land enriches our community, and we honor the diverse Aboriginal cultures of New South Wales.

We extend our sincere respect to the Elders past, present, and future, recognizing their invaluable contributions to our heritage. We acknowledge the profound stewardship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples over this land throughout history.

Please be aware that our website may contain materials honoring individuals who have passed away, such as photographs or recordings. We handle these artifacts with the utmost sensitivity and reverence.

Keeping Healthy, Staying Safe and Looking after Each Other

As advised by the NSW Health Department: we ask that you do not attend religious services, weddings, funerals, or other gatherings in person if you are feeling unwell or think you may have any COVID-19 symptoms.

It’s the little things we do that will make a big difference and help keep us all COVID and flu safe, like:

  • Keeping up to date with our COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
  • Staying home if we’re feeling unwell
  • Wearing a mask in crowded places
  • Getting together where there’s plenty of fresh air.
  • Using contactless methods for offerings and donations whenever possible.
  • We request that all groups using the church premises clean the areas they use, especially after their activity is over, so that it is clean for the next group who comes in.

Thank you.
